Proportional Air Motor Control
Video Description
In the Proportional Air Motor Control video, the potentiometer generates a 0…10V output which is then fed into the M1d to control the position of the spool in both directions making a variable orifice size. By increasing the voltage from 5 to 10V the M1d proportional valve opens more fully, increasing the flow to the air motor. From 5 to 0V, the valve opens in the opposite direction allowing control of the air motor speed in the opposite direction.
