S2 Positioning – Piloting Process Valve

In the S2 Positioning – Piloting Process Valve video, our S2 Positioning System pilots a Keystone double-acting pneumatic process valve. A Baumer non-contact feedback sensor measures the blade angle of the process valve. The closed loop control of this system allows for infinite control of the valve and visibility of the valve position. This leads to a safer, more sophisticated solution for valves to control flow and provides much higher resolution than proximity switches.

0:00 – Movement at full speed between 25% and 75% travel
0:14 – Movement at full speed between 10% and 90% travel
0:35 – Movement slowed to 5 sec for moving in each direction
1:08 – Movement slowed to 40 sec in each direction
